Intex has launched a new entry-level Android smartphone, the Cloud Champ. The handset                           is now listed on the company website with a price tag of Rs. 3,999.
The Intex Cloud Champ is a dual-SIM smartphone running Android 4.4.2 KitKat out                                        -of-the-box. It features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) TFT display. Powered by                                    a dual-core MediaTek MT6572X processor clocked at 1GHz, the Cloud Champ features                               512MB of RAM.
The latest Intex smartphone sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a                                     2-megapixel front-facing camera. It bears 4GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded                              up to 32GB (via microSD card).
Measuring 136x67.5x8.7mm, the Intex Cloud Champ connectivity features include 3G,                                   Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, and GPS. A 1700mAh battery backs the handset claimed                                 to deliver up to 7 hours of talk time and up to 298 hours of standby time.
Intex on Thursday unveiled an upgraded variant of the Aqua Q7 smartphone, the Aqua Q7                            Pro. Priced at Rs. 4,190, the Intex Aqua Q7 Pro came with specifications that are nearly                              identical to the Intex Aqua Q7. The biggest difference between the two handsets is that the                            new Aqua Q7 Pro packs 1GB of RAM. The Intex Aqua Q7, on the other hand, came with                                  just 512MB of RAM.
Earlier this month, the domestic handset maker in partnership with Truecaller announced                                      that it would replace the native dialler app on its smartphones with the Truecaller dialler.                             Under the partnership, the Intex Aqua Young, priced at Rs. 5,090, would see both the                                   Truecaller and Truedialer applications preloaded on the handset.
