The smartphone's battery life is important for every user. Handset makers are also only takes care that future releasing phones should be of high battery. If developers want to stand in phone's market  then they should improve their battery . The new name in this list is Gionee marathon M 5. The 3010 mAh battery comes with the power of two, that is a total of 6020 mAh battery. The company claims that the handset's battery will last for 4 days.

Gionee's latest handset is priced at Rs 17,999. This phone is available exclusively at India's leading e-commerce company Flipkart.

The Extreme mode is also present. As expected, the smartphone comes with reverse charging feature. With its help, the user of marathon M5 smartphone can use this as Power Bank also. It comes with fast charging system. The company, however, did not specify the mode setup Dual- battery charging how long will it fully charge.
Marathon M5 is a dual-SIM dual-standby smartphone . It will run on Android 5.1 lollipop. In both the SIM card of the handset has 4G LTE connectivity. It has 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) AMOLED display. The 64-bit 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek chipset is equipped with 6735 mt.
In India marathon M5 has launched with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB  inbuilt storage. The handset comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. Dimensions of handset in mm is 152x76x8.55and weight is 214 grams
